Well, to start about politics, we need to know what politics is. The general definition which is provided by people is not able to define politics. It is illustrated as the dirty game played by the political parties or politician. So according to various philosophers the word politics has been derived from Latin word 'Polish' which means community. No one can deny the fact that he/she is unaware of politics or has not been involved in politics. A person is born free but jailed with different rules and regulations after that. Politics start from the day a baby is born. So now the debate arises whether politics is natural or artificial.
Is Politics natural or artificial-still a debate?
If I could lend the words of Aristotle and Plato, I would say that politics is natural. They have made an argument with the fact that politics emerged from the time with the evolution of man. According to Aristotle and Plato, power is related with politics. People at the stone-age used to hunt animals and fight with each other for their own existence. They were in the process of "survival of the fittest" as explained by Charles Darwin. But I argue with Aristotle and Plato both. Politics is purely artificial and not natural as it came into existence later. The power exercised by the stone-aged people could not be inserted into political activities as it was their natural phenomena. And there is vast difference between politics and phenomena. They need to exercise their power just to live. I agree that power is the most important factor for politics but every time power is not embedded in political phenomena as power also has different nature. Does the fighting of a child for anything could be termed as politics? Does threatening of parents to their child to study hard be termed as politics? Certainly not. In my opinion, politics came into existence only after the civilization of people and people themselves created it. Politics was created by ruler to the ruled, to protect themselves and to keep people in a certain boundary. So, finally I conclude that politics is totally artificial created by human beings for human beings.
I support you that politics is totally artificial.
ReplyDeleteBut still i think politics is natural supporting the fact given by Plato and Aristotle..The political world is created naturally.... I would like to relate this "politics is natural" by comparing it with contemporary political situation and instability associated with it; if it is artificial the why the political situation is not stable? Artificial matter would have been solved with in the passage of time but not being so why?..........
ReplyDeletehmmm...nice thought!!!but that was not termed as natural on when it's exercised as natural phenomena. The process was same before and is same now just the definition given to it holds for artificial purpose.
